Amanda is the Public Policy Manager of Government Affairs at ResMed. In this role, she works with the team to align the global government affairs strategy with business objectives, and advocate on reimbursement, regulatory, and healthcare ecosystem policy issues. This encompasses supporting customer, patient and clinical groups with their advocacy initiatives, monitoring and analyzing legislative proposals and trends, and engaging with key influencers and educating stakeholders.
Prior to moving to San Diego and joining ResMed, Amanda spent time working on Capitol Hill for a U.S. Congressman, serving as Deputy Budget Director of the New Jersey Senate, and most recently as Chief of Staff for a leading strategic communications and government relations firm in Washington, D.C. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Central Michigan University and a dual Master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Northwestern University.
